Founders’ Day awards nominations are open!  There are many well-qualified people and groups to recognize for their service, skills, and contributions to the wider APHS community: the students, the school, the PTSA, educators, support staff, and more!  Please let us know who you want to recognize.  Nominees are needed in the following categories and forms can be downloaded on our website  https://aphsptsa.weebly.com/founders-day.html

•  Outstanding Educator  – Awarded to an APHS teacher who has supported children, education, and PTA ​
  Outstanding Program –  For the program that expresses the mission and vision of PTA since last Founders Day
  Distinguished Service –  Recognizes an APHS PTSA member who has gone above and beyond
  Outstanding Business Partner – To thank businesses that support APHS or APHS PTSA and the goals of PTA
   Outstanding Support Personnel  – Recognizing an APHS staff member (non-teacher) who gives extra effort to the school community
  Outstanding Student –  Recognizes a high school student for service and leadership efforts to make APHS a better place
  PTA Council Member –  Recognizes a PTA Council member for exemplary service and leadership efforts in Allen Park PTA Council
  Michigan Lifetime Membership –  Recognizes a person who has supported the mission and vision of PTA throughout his or her lifetime through volunteerism and/or professional work

Please turn in your nominations in a sealed envelope to Mrs. Demorow in the main office by Friday, Dec. 8 at 3 pm.  Or email your nomination to Sandy Winkler Hoback (winklers@umich.edu).  All are welcome to attend the PTSA meeting on Monday, Dec. 11 to hear the wonderful nominations and PTSA members can vote to select this year’s honorees!
