WOMEN OF TOMORROW MENTOR & SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The Women of Tomorrow Mentor & Scholarship Program honored five APHS seniors on April 26, 2018.  Four year participating students, Delaney Burgus, Kayra Gaston, Kayla Reeves, Abigail Szirmai, and Morrigan Takala attend the banquet along with school coordinators, Tanya Duffy and Jelane Richardson.  Cash scholarships were received by Morrigan Takala ($200.00) and Abigail Szirmai ($1500.00).

Driver Education Segment 1

Driver Education Segment 1 Driver Education Parent Meeting will be on Tuesday, May 8th at 7:00 p.m. in the HS LGI room. Cost is $380.00 and students must be 14 years 8 months on the FIRST day of the class (Saturday, June 16th).

Registration will be available at the end of the meeting. Must bring Birth Certificate (proof of age).

SUPERINTENDENT’S TOP 25 BANQUET

On Tuesday, April 24, 2018 we celebrated our Top 25 students of the Class of 2018 with the highest GPA’s along with the teacher, mentor, or coach selected by each student as the most influential in their K-12 years of education.  Heartwarming stories and memories were shared, that brought laughter and tears to over 120 people in attendance.   Mr. Don Csont was the Master of Ceremony, Mrs. Karen Moran welcomed the students and their honored guests.  Mr. Michael Darga, Superintendent of Schools,  was on hand to congratulate all of our students and their honorees that evening.

Thank you to Mrs. Colleen Nightingale for her superb attention to all details in planning the ceremony and to Mr. Cory Schlesinger lent his talents and created beautiful table top cards honoring the students and staff.

“TRUE COLORS” COLOR RUN-WALK

Join the Allen Park Public Schools Autism Department and Peer-2-Peer Program presents “True Colors” Color Run-Walk

SPORTS PHYSICALS- June 12, 2018 5:00-7:00

Allen Park High School in conjunction with the doctors of the Henry Ford Health System will be offering SPORT PHYSICALS on Tuesday, June 12th from 5:00-7:00pm in the APHS Multiplex for all students 6th grade and up for only $20 per person. The physicals are comprehensive and can be used for any student 6th-12th grade as a sport, band and/or school physical. Everyone must sign-up using the link below to take advantage of this opportunity. 
We have the card stock MHSAA Physical forms available in the main office to pick-up ahead of time or you can print the attachment and bring it with you to save time on that evening. If students will be attending by themselves, the parental signatures must be completed ahead of time.
